My yoga journey began 20 years ago while I was searching for ways to alleviate my stress. I was going through a long period of work related stressors which was having a negative impact on my body and mind. I found that yoga was the single most effective activity that brought a sense of calm and contentment which lasted long beyond class. As an elementary school teacher, I have always felt comfortable in front of a group and wanted to share the gift of yoga to others since yoga has had such a positive presence in my life. I started my 200 hour training in 2015 at Tula in Matawan and have been instructing ever since I completed the program. I currently teach multiple classes each week to students of all levels. I try to incorporate all elements of my training into a dynamic and inspiring practice.
